students attended the Bailes de Mi Tierra Competencia Folklorica in
Bastrop, Texas on February 19-21. Galilea Barrera participated in 2
Solo performances, bringing home 2nd and 3rd place trophies and a 2nd
place for a Duet. Adriana Moreno participated 2 Duet performances,
bringing home 1st and 2nd place and a 4th place on her Solo performance.
Bryanna Samaniego brought home a 1st place for her Solo performance and
1st and 2nd place for her participation in a Duet. Barrera, Moreno and
Samaniego brought home a 1st place their performance in a Trio.
Gonzales, Samaniego and Barrera brought home a 2nd place for their Trio.
Congratulations girls on your first folklorico competition!!
