Five "Wildcat" Student/Cadets Win

Eighteen (18) Carrizo Springs High School "JROTC student/cadets participated in the Thomas Jefferson High School sponsored "Cunning Running" Orienteering Meet on Saturday 3 March 2007, in Olmos Park, San Antonio, Texas.  Nine schools and 194 contestants from across south and central Texas participated in the competition.  Cadet Captain Diana Garcia won the Gold Medal finishing first in the Female Intermediate Division 17-19 year olds and Cadet Master Sergeant Adriana Perez received the Silver Medal finishing second in the same category of competition.  Cadet Miguel Velasquez was the Silver Medalist in the Advanced Male Division.  In the Advanced Female Division  for 15-16 year olds Cadets Yzenya Moctezuma was the Silver Medalist and Second Lieutenant Shantell Tollett was the Bronze Medalist  with her third place finish.
