Congratulations to Carol Howard, Stephanie Estrada, Alysia Robledo, and Anna Mendoza who traveled to Devine on Wednesday to participate in the UIL District Cross-Examination Debate Tournament. The team of Carol Howard and Stephanie Estrada won 5th place while the team of Alysia Robledo and Anna Mendoza won 7th place. The efforts of these young ladies yielded the first points of the District Academic Meet for the UIL team. The rest of the UIL participants will compete on March 26 and 29. Again congratulations to these ladies and their coach Rosa Treviņo. We invite everyone to support academic competition. “Experience the Power of Knowledge.”
