JROTC Air Riffle Marksmanship Team
wins Third Place

Carrizo Springs JROTC Air Rifle Marksmanship Team traveled to Somerset High School for the Second Annual Spring Shooting Competition and placed third overall in the Competition which featured marksmanship teams from around the area and many teams from the San Antonio area.  Air Rifle Marksmanship is a very serious discipline which includes firing from three positions; prone, standing and kneeling at a target the size of a quarter from 10 meters away.  A perfect score of 300 is the goal and your Wildcat student/cadets scored from 230 up to 280 to win third place in the contest.  Student/Cadets in the competition are pictured below from left to right.  Scott Navarro, Irene Medina, Diana Garcia, Rene Lozano, Miguel Garcia, Amy Sanchez, Tony Garcia, Germaine DeLeon, Moses Garza and Matthew Alaniz
