
Mr. Sigifredo Sanchez was born on October 20, 1967 in Crystal City, Texas and is now 39 years old. He was born to Eleazar Soto Sanchez and Adelfina Navarro Sanchez and has 4 siblings, Eleazar Jr., Adan, Antonio, and Monique. He has been married for 21 years, has three children of his own, and one grandchild. His wife's name is Elida and his children's names are Nelda, David Alonzo, and Audry Lauren. His grandchild's name is Avery Alonzo Ramirez and is the son of his oldest daughter, Nelda. He graduated from Asherton High School in 1986 and then pursued a college career. He graduated from Texas A&I Kingsville in 1991 with a Bachelor of Arts in Music. After years of hard work, he went back home and worked with the music department in Asherton for 8 years. Since that time, he has been working with the MPB in Carrizo Springs. He is quite the musician himself. He was a former TMEA All-State Trumpet player and has been a part of 2 UIL State Marching Championships with Asherton High School. While attending college in Kingsville, he performed with the Javelina Marching Band, the Symphonic Band, Jazz Band 1, and the Faculty Quintet. He has played with numerous tejano groups including, "Lalo Mata Y La Ultima Pagina" (Crystal City), Beto Leal Orchestra (Kingsville), Tejano Breed (Asherton), Tierra Tejana (Seguin), and is currently playing with Zavala Band (Crystal City). He is an assistant band director for the Carrizo Springs Mean Purple Band and is in charge of the Carrizo Springs High School Mariachi program.
