BULLYING

 

 

Preventive Education may include the following:

Anti-bullying pledge-parents and students sign it and return it

Counselor does lessons on bullying

Bullying survey is completed by students

Counselor shows video on bullying appropriate for grade level

Information and video will be given at PTO meeting

Send letter with the anti-bullying pledge to parents of students who are persistent

Teachers are made aware of bullying situations

TAPS Academy Presentation

CSCISD Police Officer(s) speak to the students

Parents will be mailed a bullying awareness flier

Guest speakers

Online Resources

Consequences may include the following:

Consequences shall depend on both the results of the investigation and the severity of the incident.

Mediation/counseling-Counselor will speak to individuals

Principal and/or Assistant Principal will speak to students

Parent conference with bully’s parent(s) and victim’s if necessary

Time-To-Teach Activities

In-school suspension

Call the officer to issue a warning or ticket

Student may lose privilege to attend extra-curricular activities

Student may be assigned to TAPS Academy intervention program
