Criteria for Award of the Letter Jacket
1.
For the school year 2002 – 2003 “ONLY.” Participate in the JROTC Program for four (4)
years. Be an academic senior and cadet
in good standing within the Carrizo Springs High School. No academic or disciplinary restrictions.
Remain active and involved in the JROTC Program for the duration of the high
school experience. This requirement is
waived for any academic Senior who has transferred from another school to
Carrizo Springs but has completed at least two (2) full years of JROTC at
Carrizo Springs or,

Be a Cadet member, in any academic classification (Freshman through
Senior) on any one of the extra-curricular teams, competed with the specific
team in a majority of the competitive events scheduled during the school year
or have finished first or second in two or more competitions (same competitive
event) during the year. Remain active
and involved in the JROTC Program for the duration of the high school
experience. Remain in good academic standing and free of disciplinary actions,
suspension or probation or,

Be a Cadet member, in any academic classification (Freshman through
Senior) on any one of the extra-curricular teams, have competed in all
scheduled major competitions (four [4] or more teams competing in the
same event) or placed 1st, 2nd or 3rd in
any one of the major competitions during the year. Remain active and involved
in the JROTC Program for the duration of the high school experience. Remain in
good academic standing and free of disciplinary actions, suspension or
probation and,
4.
Sign a binding agreement with the JROTC Department that the Letter
Jacket remains the property of the JROTC Department until graduation from
Carrizo Springs High School. Remain
active and involved in the JROTC Program for the duration of the high school
experience. You cannot quit JROTC and keep the letterman’s jacket. Surrender
the jacket upon request of the JROTC Instructor Staff or High School
Administration.
