8th Grade Science

Class overview— In Science Lab, we will attempt to explain how things work.  Our curriculum is split up into three main sections: Earth, Life, and Physical Sciences.  In this class, students are expected to take a number of safety precautions to promote their individual safety as well as that of their fellow classmates.

 

 

Short teacher bio— I graduated from CSHS in 2000.  I received a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts from UTSA in December of 2007.  In August 2008, after completing my observations and internship at NISD, I received my Teaching Certificates in Spanish (Grades 6-12) and Generalist (4-8).  During the 2008-2009 school year, I taught math and science from 6th-8th grades.

 

 

Goals for the year— I want this to be a fun, exciting, and memorable year! I would like to make available to students the tools as well as the thinking skills necessary to make sense of how things works.
