JUNIOR HIGH BAND
A note from the Director: Welcome to the 2021-2022 Carrizo Springs Junior High Band Program! We are excited to have YOU, YES, YOU interested in the Next Generation MPB! You may have many questions about your upcoming musical journey and where to begin. Due to the current pandemic and keeping your safety in mind as well as those around you, we ask that you follow the proper steps to get you signed up and ready for band. I have provided a link to a google document that needs to be completed by your parent/guardian. This form is to provide your basic information and the opportunity for you to select your instrument. Keep in mind there are limited spots available for each instrument. The selection will be based on a first come first serve. If you have any questions on the instruments that we offer to teach, we have provided an “Introduction to Band” video. In this video you, will find information on each instrument we teach in 6th-8th grade band and a Welcome Message from the CSCISD Band Staff. If you are interested in joining, keep in mind that band is a yearlong commitment to the organization and you will not be able to switch out of band once the year begins. Please fill out the 6th-8th Grade Band Enrollment link below. Parents, we look forward in providing your child a learning and enriching life experience as they start their musical journey in the Carrizo Springs CISD band program. Please do not hesitate to call or email me in regards to any questions you may have.
