The Business Office oversees purchases throughout our district to ensure we acquire the greatest possible value and quality in the services and products purchased; and all contracts are awarded equitably and economically. Carrizo Springs CISD is governed by federal, state, and local competitive procurement statutes, regulations and policies. By maintaining procedures which foster fair and open competition, the majority of the district's purchasing is done via a competitive procurement process such as a Request for Qualifications (RFQ), Proposal (RFP), Competitive Sealed Bids (CSB) or Proposals (CSP).

In 2024, Carrizo Springs CISD moved from a paper bidding process to an electronic bidding system. The new e-bidding system is used by all vendors/suppliers regardless of whether they are current, awarded vendors or new applicants. Our goal is to increase participation in the bid process by encouraging vendors to view our e-Bid Portal.
