Carrizo Springs CISD has two different medical plans to choose from. The medical plans are fully-insured and administered by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas.

Carrizo Springs CISD utilizes the Employee Navigator platform for all insurance benefit enrollment and elections. Our hope is to make it easy for employees to self-enroll and manage their own benefits. The platform is available 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
You can find all necessary plan information and documents by accessing the Benefits tab within the portal. Documents and information can be found under the Resources section in each of your elected benefits.

Notice in Spanish
Under the Medicare Part D program, group health plans—or entities that offer prescription drug coverage on a group basis to active and retired employees and to Medicare Part D eligible individuals—are required to provide, or arrange for providing, a notice of creditable prescription drug coverage at least annually to those Medicare Part D eligible individuals who are covered by, or who apply for, prescription drug coverage under the group health plan.
