Hi there! I’m Myrna Guerrero, the District Librarian for Carrizo Springs CISD. I’ve spent 6 years teaching lower grades and 4 wonderful years in the library world. I absolutely love what I do and enjoy bringing stories to life for our students. My goal is to make every library a fun and welcoming place where everyone can discover the magic of reading. Come visit your campus library—I can’t wait to help you find your next favorite book!
CSE
My name is Delilah Diaz, and I serve as the Library Aide at Carrizo Springs Elementary. I have 11 years of experience working in elementary libraries and truly enjoy helping students discover the joy of reading.
CSI
Hello My name is Mrs. Alfaro. I am the library aide at CSI and I have 3 years experience. Although I do not read as much as I should, I do enjoy the children and environment in the library. I would not want to be anywhere else.
CSJH

Hello! My name is Mrs. Orosco, and I am the Library Aide at Carrizo Springs Junior High. I have proudly served in this role for six years. I truly enjoy working with our students and helping them explore the wonderful world of reading. Every day brings a new opportunity to inspire a love for books and learning!
CSHS

Hi! I’m Christy Escobedo, the Library Aide at Carrizo Springs High School. I’ve been part of the high school for 5 years and recently joined the library—a place I’ve quickly grown to love! I enjoy helping students find books that inspire them and create a space where everyone feels welcome. As one of my favorite quotes says, “Reading gives us some place to go when we have to stay where we are.”
